Snow Moot
In late July each year, NSW Rovers pack the skis and boards and jump on a bus to Jindabyne for the annual snow weekend known as Snow Moot.
Staying in the Scout Alpine Centre at Jindabyne, Rovers are transported to the Perisher Valley Resort each day where they can ski, snow board or just appreciate the snow and faciliities of the resort.
Crews or groups of Rovers with common interests tender to run the moot each year, with the Branch Rover Council voting on the best tender. Tenders for Snow Moot 2008 open at the August BRC Meeting.
Snow Moot is generally themed, however quite often the thrill of being in the NSW Apline Region is reason enough itself for this weekend to be a success.
